Truth is the motto of the Dominican Order of Preachers. St Catherine of Siena said "Be who God created you to be and you will set the world on fire". The goal of Veritas Christian Counseling is to encourage and help individuals to discover their true selves, embrace their God given gifts and use them to make a positive, healing impact on our troubled world.
Having trained with Dr Bob Schuchts of the John Paul II Healing Center, Catherine practices in the Theophostic model of prayer for inner healing of trauma which draws upon CBT. She is also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which effectively treats BPD. Additionally, she utilizes Dr Conrad Baar’s Affirmation Therapy and is trained with the Catherine of Siena Institute as a team member of the Called and Gifted discernment process. Finally, Catherine is a mother, wife and member of the 3rd order Lay Dominicans.
